Race Course**UPDATE**  The Kentucky river has receded and the course will be open as planned.   Please review the race course map so that you are familiar with the route.  Those participants that will be in the two mile walk will just continue up Capital Avenue to the finish line instead of turning left onto East Todd Street.

Race Tips
-         All Two Mile Walk participants, walkers in the five mile course, those with strollers, dogs, and/or small children should start at the back of the pre-race crowd.
-         Runners expecting to run between an 9 and 12 minute mile should be in the middle of the crowd.  Those that run faster than 8 minutes per mile should be near the front.  The front few rows should be only those that will run 6 minutes per mile or faster.
-         Your bib should be worn on the front of your shirt so that we can see it as you cross the finish line.
-         Stay on the road as you run the race.  Do not run on the sidewalk or in the grass.  All streets will be closed to motor vehicles during the race.
-         Stay hydrated on the race course by utilizing the water stops.
-         When you cross the finish line:  Keep walking, stay in the order that you finish and move through the finish chute.
