2010 MainSource Bank Black Cat Chase 5K
Friday, October 29th, 2010 - 7pm - Downtown Frankfort

Register by August 31 and be entered into our drawing for a free six month YMCA family membership!

2010 Race Information
* Electronic Chip Timing - We will once again use ChronoTrack electronic chip timing for all participants.  The specialized disposable D-Tag will attach to each participants shoe and allow for better flow at the finish line and quick posting of the results.

* Creative awards - Middle of the Pack, Caboose and Stroller winners again!  New this year - best halloween costume by a race finisher!  Also, top three overall male and female, top three in each age group and top three teams!  Over 100 prizes in all!

* Post Race Party and Celebration Sponsored by Capital Plaza Hotel!After the race starting at 8pm, come over to the hotel lobby and enjoy live music and meet other participants. 

* Capital Plaza Hotel is the Official Hotel for the Black Cat Chase.  All participants can get a $59 room rate by mentioning the Black Cat Chase.  Call 502-227-5100 to make your room reservation.

* Long sleeve race t-shirt for all participants!  Halloween Orange color this year!  Participants can upgrade to a performance shirt for $10 more.  You must register by October 1st to upgrade. 

* Early Packet Pick-up - Thursday, October 28 from 8am-6pm and Friday, October 29 from 8am-4pm. 

* Race Day Registration at the Downtown YMCA from 8am-4pm and at the Old Capitol from 5-6:45pm.  Race day fee of $20.

* Race course starts at the intersection of Broadway and Wilkinson and ends on Broadway in front of the Old Capitol.  See course map below or download the race course map here.

* Free Childcare for race participants children ages 3 months to 12 years old at the Downtown YMCA from 6:30-8:15pm.
 
* Pre-race activities for children and families on the Old State Capital Lawn from 5:30-6:45pm.
