 Youth Recreational Soccer League

Spring Soccer League

 Ages 3-18 Years

Little Kickers Members- $40 Non-Members- $55                      

U6 to U19 Members- $60 Non-Members- $85 

Our recreational soccer league is designed to teach the fundamentals of soccer and promote sportsmanship in a game setting.  League options are: Little Kickers, U6, U8, U10, U12, U14, and U19 (U14 and U19 depends on enrollment numbers).  Registration will run until February 28.  Little Kickers meets once a week for an hour for a total of 8 weeks (Mondays evenings).  U6 and U8 have one practice per week for an hour and play 8 games.  U10 and higher have two one hour practices per week and play at least 8 games.  Games will be played on Saturdays at Lakeview Park (LK through U8) or Capitol View Park (U12 through U19) from late March through mid May (minimal travel is required for U12 through U19 leagues).  More details will be posted on this page closer to season.  


The coaches meeting is on Sunday, March 8 at 4pm in the Downtown Y multipurpose room. 


You will hear from a coach the week of March 9.  Practices begin the week of March 16. Little Kickers begins March 23.


The first game for U6 and above is March 28.  We will not play games on April 4 or May 23.  The season ends on May 30.  Little Kickers won't play on April 6 and ends on May 18. 


Shin guards are required.  Cleats are recommended.  A jersey, shorts, and socks will be provided for players that didn't play in the fall.  If your child played in the fall but needs a new uniform, a $15 fee will be applied.  The YMCA has jerseys, shorts, socks, cleats, and balls that can be purchased for practice purposes.  Contact the sports office for more information at 502-227-9637 ext. 105.
